Tuesday, March 8 and Friday, March 18, 2022

The International Forum returned in Spring 2022, offered again in a live, online format. More than 300 alumnae/i and parents registered from 27 different countries to join us for two distinct programs around the theme of leadership: a fireside conversation between Sonali De Rycker ’95 and Linda Hill ’77 and an interactive panel discussion with Associate Dean Katie Krimmel and current students and alumnae.

Session 1: Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 8:00AM Eastern Standard Time

Fireside chat-style conversation with Sonali De Rycker ’95, Partner at Accel, and Linda Hill ’77, Wallace Brett Donham Professor of Business Administration and Faculty Chair, Leadership Initiative at Harvard Business School, with an introduction from Bryn Mawr College President Kim Cassidy.

Sonali and Linda discussed leadership, entrepreneurship, and the value of a liberal arts education.

Session 2: Friday, March 18, 2022 at Noon Eastern Daylight Time

Katie Krimmel, Associate Dean of the Career & Civic Engagement Center, led a panel discussion with current students and young alumnae/i. The Career & Civic Engagement Center prepares and supports liberal arts students and alumnae/i to be effective, self-aware leaders in their chosen life pursuits including exploration of leadership and digital competencies.  These are critical skills to thriving and innovating on the many paths that Bryn Mawr prepares you to take.

Attendees learned about how students and recent alumnae/i have grown in these areas through participation in Career & Civic Engagement Center programs, featuring alumnae/i panelists Steffany Chou ’18 and Lydia Sanchez ’18 and student panelists Minolta Ndlovu ’23, Dounya Ramadan ’22, Mahima Silwal ’22, and Chloe Stapleton-Gray ’23. Bryn Mawr College Trustee and CCEC Advocacy Board Member Sara Moreno ’95 offered introductory remarks.
