Veritatem Dilexi: Truth Seeking in the Age of AI, Disinformation & the Attention Economy
The 2026 International Forum (online) featured an alumnae/i panel discussion framed by the College’s motto veritatem dilexi as Mawrters continue to “delight in truth.” A record 400+ members of the Bryn Mawr community registered for our global conversation on how emerging technology, geopolitics and the rapid expansion of the news landscape challenge our ability to seek truth. President Wendy Cadge offered opening remarks.
Registrants were also invited to complete two optional pre-Forum exercises: an inventory to consider their own personal news consumption, and a podcast on the topic from panel host Daisy Sindelar. These can be found at the Stay Connected page of this site.
